TopGolf Hits a Hole in One with Citrix
MetaFrame.
Three years of development by World Golf Systems
has resulted in the world's first computerised driving
range, TopGolf at Watford in Hertfordshire, South
East of England. However, there is nothing virtual
about TopGolf; it has 44 bays on two levels from
which golfers hit real golf balls each containing
a tiny microchip onto a large fairway dotted with
target greens. Unlike conventional driving ranges,
the players get instant feedback on a computer screen
in their bay, which displays how far the ball has
travelled and the accuracy of the shot. |
