The Sun Java Desktop System incorporates the best of open
source innovation with significant contributions from
Sun to create a secure, comprehensive, and economical
enterprise desktop software solution. With Java Desktop
System, Release 3, Sun is proud to offer the enterprise
client software stack ported to Solaris 10. Java Desktop
System customers have the option of deploying the same
desktop environment across an array of Sun and non-Sun
hardware platforms including the complete line of Sun
systems, other manufacturers' X86 desktops/laptops, and
Sun Ray thin clients.
StarOffice
StarOffice 7 Office Suite is the world's leading office
productivity suite on Linux and the Solaris OS, and the
leading alternative office suite on Windows.

SunPCi IIIpro
The SunPCi IIIpro coprocessor card is a cost-effective,
hardware-based solution for Sun systems that allows the
sharing of data, peripherals, and network connections
between Microsoft Windows and the Solaris Operating System.
In addition to its own Ethernet port, the card also supports
the sharing of Sun system's Ethernet ports for increased
networking flexibility. Three USB 2.0 ports and a 1394a
port, as well as serial and parallel ports, provide support
for PC-standard I/O devices such as digital media devices,
keyboards, mice, storage, and printers.
